RICHARD LEE, Chief Executive Officer
Richard Lee has a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Detroit and an MBA from the University of Chicago. His 37-year career in wireless communications and assisted GPS systems started as a radio frequency engineer with Motorola Communications and Cellular Sectors. He later became an executive in wireless operators US West/Air Touch and PrimeCo (both now Verizon Wireless), and Bouygues Mobile of France. More recently he held executive positions in assisted GPS private companies including Global Locate (acquired by Broadcom), and as executive co-founder of RX Networks before launching iPosi, Inc.

CHRISTOPHER KURBY, Senior Vice President of Engineering
Christopher Kurby earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois, a Master of Science degree in electrical engineering, and a Master’s degree in engineering management from Northwestern University. Before iPosi, he worked for Motorola in technical capacities involving radio communication and hardware design with his last position in the Chief Technology Office of Motorola Mobility. There he was a Senior Member of the Technical Staff and held the company’s highest honorary technical title of Dan Noble Fellow. He holds 39 US patents, many in the area of satellite communications and GPS technology with several additional pending.

ERIC DERBEZ, Senior GNSS & Software Architect
Eric Derbez earned his Ph.D. in mathematics from McMaster University in Ontario, and a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in mathematics and physics from the University of British Columbia. After various post-doctorate programs, Eric started his career in assisted GNSS with eRide, and then went on to work with NavCom technologies before becoming principal engineer at RX Networks. He has been the principal or co-inventor of many filings regarding ephemeris encoding or onboard prediction inventions, and has worked extensively on client and server-side modules for assisted GPS technology.


DAN AUTON, Vice President, Business Development

Dan Auton earned his Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from NC State University and his Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Virginia. With more than 30 years of sales, marketing and business development experience at Austria Microsystems (AMS), Intel and Motorola as well as several start-up companies, his expertise includes sales and marketing business development across the semiconductor industry including: ASIC, SoCand IP,  microprocessors, UWB/BT, GPS, SoC Supercapacitors (battery powered subsystems), and digital power amplifiers.  Dan specializes in consumer, mobile and PC markets.
