(Orlando, FL, Barcelona, Spain, and Boulder, CO) – As one of just 12 technology companies out of more than 200 applicants to be accepted into this year’s CableLabs Innovation Showcase, iPosi demonstrated how its assisted GPS solution increases spectrum access and opens up new bandwidth for both licensed and unlicensed users. At a time when spectrum bandwidth is becoming increasingly crowded and more expensive, iPosi’s solution creates spectrum access for a host of new users while protecting legacy services from interference, including military and maritime radar.
During the February 9-12 event, iPosi CEO Richard Lee demonstrated how its embedded “smart cell platform” brings outdoor GPS signals indoors to make indoor networks smarter and more efficient, and deliver 100x more spectrum at 1/10th the cost. This three-in-one service suite also provides precise location and network synchronization solutions to deliver a host of enterprise services for personal devices and upcoming IoT.
iPosi also demonstrated its field-tested solution at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February where Mr. Lee met with wireless leaders from around the world.
Now working with CableLabs to bring its spectrum sharing solution to the marketplace, iPosi is a wireless communications technology company based in Boulder, CO.
